For Memorial Day weekend (Friday, May 27- Monday, May 30), Courtney's mom rented a FABULOUS chalet in Gatlinburg for the entire family. We typically try to have a mountain family getaway once a year so this year we went at the end of May to celebrate the end of the school year (since we are all in the education profession!). It was so nice to get away and not worry about our growing to-do list with Camden's arrival fast approaching (less than a month away). The cousins had a blast playing together in the indoor pool, climbing the rock wall, and eating like little piggies all the yummy food that Grammy had bought. (Actually, we all ate like piggies!) One morning we got up early and had breakfast at Pancake Pantry- a family tradition. This was Carter's 1st trip to Pancake Pantry and he loved it! We had a wonderful time together enjoying the beautiful weather in our beautiful chalet! Thanks Grammy for planning such a great family trip!

... maybe he didn't get it! Before we knew it, he had his arms as deep as they would go into the water! It was hilarious!
