Happy Birth-Day Carter!

On Wednesday, February 18th, our precious baby boy decided to make his grand debut! Carter Joseph Lancaster was born at 5:28 pm weighing 9 lbs. 7.6 oz. and measuring 21 inches long.

Surprise Shower for Baby Carter!

Courtney's fabulous room parents, Rose and Lisa, surprised her with a shower from her class! The kids had such a great time! They watched her open gifts for Carter and herself, they played games, and they even had snacks to eat!

All the kids signed a card for baby Carter! How sweet!

One of the games that the kids played was the string game. They had to guess how big around Courtney's belly is measuring. This is a great math lesson on estimation! They thought it was so funny to cut tons of string!

Baby Shower: Round Three

The third shower was held at Courtney's school. Courtney and her mom Becky are showing the adorable cake. Courtney's former room parent Janine, along with her husband, bake and decorate the most delicious cakes! They are Courtney's favorite!

Carter received so many wonderful presents and gift cards! We want to thank everyone for their generousity and kindness! Courtney works with the BEST staff in town! We got our infant carrier so Joe can carry Carter around. We just hope that Carter likes it! :)

Baby Shower: Round Two

Our second shower was held at our friend's house, Beth. The girls had quite a spread: cupcakes, dipped cookies, sandwich wraps, chips and dip, punch, and more! Everything was so nice! We have the greatest friends in the world! We thank you all for making this time in our lives so special for us! In honor of Courtney's "choo-choo" blanket, the shower theme was trains.

Baby Shower: Round One

There were lots of yummy treats to eat at the shower held at Mandi's house (Courtney's sister). Courtney's mom made her chicken salad croissants that she loves! Mandi made mini strawberry cupcakes and they were delicious!


Carter recieved so many wonderful gifts at the shower! Thank you all for everything! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Grandaddy bought and wrapped a special gfit, a stuffed Ruth (Grandaddy's donkey on the farm). It took us forever to decide and agree on what we wanted to do with Carter's room. Once we finally found the bedding, we decided to paint stripes that matched. Joe worked very hard and it turned out looking fabulous!
