Watch it Wiggle, See it Jiggle...

JELL-O!!! We had all just finished our dinner and Courtney opened a Jell-O cup for herself for dessert. Carter saw that he wasn't getting to eat any of it and started crying so we decided to let him try some. As you can see from the pictures, he LOVES Jell-O (Black Cherry flavor)! We put some on his tray and he had the best time smearing it all around. He hasn't grasped the concept of feeding himself but that didn't stop him from having a blast!
What is this fun stuff?
Yea! I love it!

If you look close, you can see it in his hair and all over his face!

This is his new silly face that he makes! It always cracks us up! He grins as hard as he can and laughs!

V-O-L-S, V-O-L-S, Go Vols Go!

Joe LOVES Tennessee Football! Before the UT game last week, September 5th, Courtney dressed Carter in his UT gear to have his picture made with his daddy. His hat was a little big but he'll grow into it! It's still adorable for a picture! Courtney did a cheer with Carter's arms and he thought that was hilarious! If Joe has any say in the matter Carter will be a Vol fan for life! GO VOLS!
My 2 UT fans!

Clap Your Hands for Jesus!

We has been trying to get Carter to clap for a while now. He loved to have help clapping but just wouldn't do it by himself. Courtney would always sing a song she learned from her daycare days called "Clap Your Hands for Jesus". He started clapping a few claps at a time but nothing big until one night at his Aunt Mandi and Uncle Aaron's house. He was over at their house swimming while Joe and Courtney had meetings at their schools. Carter's cousin Reed would do "tricks" in the pool and Carter loved it! He loved it so much he started clapping... alot!!
It took us forever to get some pictures because whenever we would get the camera out, he would stop! He now claps all the time! We start singing our song and he claps his hands for Jesus!

"Clap, Clap..."

"Clap your hands..."

"Clap your hands for Jesus!"

6 Months Old!

We took Carter for his 6 month visit on Saturday, August 22nd. He had regular shots, a flu shot, and his drinkable vaccinne. He ran a fever again with these so we just hung out around the house all day Sunday to let him rest before we started our week. Nurse Lou and Dr. Roberts continue to tell us that he will start slowing down with his weight but we are very skeptical since they have been telling us this for a while now and he continues to grow! Just check out his 6 month appointment pictures!

Our big boy- 22.8 pounds (they only took off .5 ounces for the diaper this time)
This puts Carter in the 98%!

All the nurses were entertained with Carter. He didn't cry at all while he was being measured and just smiled at everyone that would talk to him. His head has grown quite a bit and is now in the 40%. He height is in the 87%. (28.75 inches)

Carter had the best time while we waited on Dr. Roberts! He found a new toy... the paper covering the table! As you can see by the wet marks, he tried to eat it! Is anyone surprised by that?
