Getting ready for Camden...

We have had to do so much to get ready for the arrival of our precious baby girl, Camden. After our massive cleaning out and yard sale, it was time to get her room ready. It took us months to decide on bedding that we could both agree on and then a few weeks to pick out paint that would match! Why can't we make anything easy? Once all the major decisions over her room had been made, it was time to get started on painting. We decided to let Carter "help" with the primer since that can't really be messed up. He had such a ball! It was so funny watching him mimic Joe. He was so proud of his painting and got very upset if we tried to help in any way.

Daddy explained that paint only goes on the walls!

He had to have something to dip his paintbrush into just like Daddy!

Reaching up high like Daddy (Joe was working on the trim).

Our little Picasso!

He moved to a new wall when Joe moved on. He loved climbing his little ladder (as he called it).

After Carter went to bed that evening, Joe worked on painting the walls the color we chose- a shade of mint green.

We also have been working on organizing Camden's toys, clothes, diaper changing area, etc. Carter has really loved going through all the baby toys! He stops and plays each time we find something that looks fun!

He was so excited to find a "soccer game"!

Here is the finished room... minus a few wall decorations and wall frames...

We can't wait to meet our baby girl and Carter is looking forward to seeing his little sister! He asks regularly if she is here yet and we try to explain that she will be here soon! Courtney is getting very impatient but we know that God will have her make her grand debut when He is ready for her to join our family! We love you, Camden and can't wait for our family to be complete!
