Camden's 9 Month Check-Up

Courtney took Carter for his 3 year old well visit on Monday, March 26th.  She wasn't able to schedule Camden's well visit for the same day so she was going to take her back on Thursday.  While we were at KPA, our WONDERFUL, FABULOUS doctor went ahead and did both visits at the same appointment!  (Just another reason why we love Dr. Roberts!)  Courtney didn't take the camera since she thought it was only Carter's appointment so she had to use her phone camera for Camden's pictures.  (After the 1st year, we don't take pictures at doctor appoinments.)  Carter was a real trooper and did GREAT sitting through his visit and then Camden's! He's getting to be such a little man!  Camden did GREAT too with her visit (fortunately there were no shots this visit!).

It felt like Camden was NEVER going to be able to feed herself!  She knew how to get the food to her mouth but she would not let go!!  Camden hasn't enjoyed babyfood for quite some time now so we have been giving her table food (which she LOVES).  On Sunday, March 25th, Camden was eating her usual breakfast... pancakes... when she started feeding herself!  YIPPEEE!!  Courtney grabbed the camera and away she snapped!  We are so proud of our big girl!

Beach Picture Time!

On Friday night we dressed in our matching outfits and headed down to the beach for some family photos.  Both kiddos were worn out from playing on the beach most of the day but we still managed to get some really cute pictures!  Enjoy!

Spring Break Trip 2012

We left for our Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach in the wee morning hours on Saturday, March 17th.  We wanted the kiddos to sleep as long as possible before we had to stop for breakfast.  They did so well!  We made the 7 hour trip in about 9 hours... not too bad with a 9 month old baby and a 3 year old underwear wearing toddler!  We had a wonderful, relaxing trip with the Taylors and Grammy!  We went to the beach, splashed around in the kiddie pool and slide, shopped at the outlets and ate some yummy food!  What a nice way to spend Spring Break!

A Visit to Fountain City Lake

Courtney took Carter and Camden to Fountain City Lake (Duck Pond) on Wednesday, March 7th.  It was such a pretty day and we hadn't been to the Duck Pond since before Camden was born.  Carter was excited to see all the ducks and geese that day!  Camden snoozed almost the entire time we were there!  She finally woke up and was in awe of the animals!  What a wonderful day to be outside!
