On Saturday, November 12th, our nephew, Owen, was playing his 1st hockey game during half-time at the Knoxville Ice Bears hockey game. We were able to get discounted tickets to the game since we were going to watch Owen. We thought this would be the perfect time to take Carter to a hockey game! He was sooooo excited to watch his cousin Owen skate on the ice like Mickey Mouse did at Disney on Ice! We sat with Courtney's family so Carter and Camden had plenty of people to entertain them during the regular game. At half-time, Owen's team skated onto the ice and Owen did GREAT! It's like he was born to skate because he was actually running on the ice with his skates! He was so proud of himself when he came back to sit with us for the rest of the game. We stayed until the end of the game, which made for a late night for us. We were glad to have gone but next time, we won't be staying until the end!
