Coming Home

On Friday, June 24th, we were released from the hospital after a very interesting night. Friday at 12:30am, we were evacuated into the hallway due to a tornado warning for the Fort Sanders area. All the patients were sitting in the hallway in rocking chairs until 2:30am! It was a very long 2 hours to wait and do nothing after already being exhausted from lack of sleep. The nurses had to take all the babies and put them in a center room to keep them safe. We understood the reasoning for this and were very glad that our little one was being kept safe but one family in the hallway was not too happy (and they let EVERYONE know it... including the security guards who were called to our floor to handle the situation!). Needless to say, at least we had some entertainment during our 2 hour hallway stay! We felt like we were on an episode of Jerry Springer meets Punked!

Our precious little girl!

All packed up and ready to go!

Leaving the hospital and heading home!

Carter was so excited when we got home! He couldn't wait to see Camden!

He climbed in the car just to touch and kiss her head!

As soon as we got inside the house, Carter started shouting, "I hold Sister!". He already loves her so much and is being such a great big brother!

This look is just priceless!

Of course, Courtney had to get matching outfits for Carter and Camden for our 1st day at home- they looked adorable!
