Since the weather was so beautiful and our Knoxville Zoo pass is about to expire, we decided to take a quick trip to the zoo on Sunday, April 3rd before heading to family dinner. The zoo has 2 new friends on exhibit, Buttercup and Tallulah. Buttercup is a HUGE 23 foot long snake (not one of Courtney's favorite creatures!) and Tallulah who is a rare white alligator with pink eyes. After the zoo, we headed to family dinner where Carter got to meet Grammy's newest additions- 3 little bunnies! Cousins Reed and Owen found them at their house so they relocated them to Grammy's house so that she could nurse them to health. Carter LOVED them! Grammy is like the Dog Whisperer but not just with dogs, she loves ALL animals and they love her! The bunnies did great and were able to be released inot Grammy's woods after a few days.
