This year for Spring Break, we decided to take our last beach trip as a family of 3 and headed to Hilton Head, South Carolina. We had such a wonderful, relaxing trip! We left later than we expected on Saturday, March 12th and ended up getting to our resort around midnight. It worked out great because Carter slept almost the entire way in the car! When we got up on Sunday, we took Carter to the beach for a little while to play and then got ready for the St. Patrick's Day parade! We didn't really know what to expect but thought it would be something that Carter might enjoy. It wasn't anything too exciting but Carter had a great time getting treats from the parade floats and participants.
There were several groups of military people in the parade. 
This was a "big truck" according to Carter! 
Carter was given an American flag and he loved to wave it as everyone went by! 
He received several necklaces and even got his hand stamped from the elementary school group! 
Carter's favorite treat was probably the popcorn... along with the tons of suckers! 
Carter was not too cooperative for our family picture! Happy early St. Patrick's Day!
